A short portfolio with before and after pictures of staging and redesign projects.
The living room in this apartment was not welcoming at all. The owner's had an extremely limited budget, and we were unable to paint the walls due to lease restrictions.
The addition of simple store bought curtains and 2 pictures for the walls instantly gave this room some pizzaz. Arranging the furniture to face the television gave the room its purpose.
This bonus room was used as a playroom for the family's children, but the adults never wanted to stay in the room because it always felt chaotic.
All that was added to this room were the simple curtains to help repeat the red accent color. With the re-arrangement of the large furniture, the whole family can now enjoy the tv and the play area. We used the existing bookcases to organize the toys, and placed the main playthings in front of the couch so that they are largely blocked from view.
This master sitting room felt more like a dorm room. The furniture blocked the gorgeous windows and were very mismatched.
By removing the slipcover from the sofa, it blended better into the overall space. We brought in a hutch from the hallway and accessorized it with pictures and books that were previously set around the room. With a little decluttering and re-arranging, the room now adds value to this master suite!
